A new exhibition by Lola de Miguel opens September 7th at SMV Gallery, 145 West 46 Street Ground floor. The exhibition features 20 acrylic paintings that will be displayed until September 27th.
De Miguel invites us to jump into a magnificent adventure. The cheerful and refreshing chromaticism she displays in her collection “The Jungle”, leads the visitor through an amazing journey where there is a lot to be discovered.
Asked about the exhibition, De Miguel said that during the process of painting she purposely created a hidden reality behind the obvious, that the visitor will have to find, aiming to create in this way a unique connection between painting and beholder. The painter wants to facilitate the observer to feel the jungle, to breath the jungle, to love the jungle.
Lola de Miguel, lives in NYC, was born in Spain and has grown as human being and as a painter all around the world. She has lived in many different countries through her live and this is something that can be seen in her art. She is well-known to the public of the SMV Gallery as she performed two previous solo exhibition “New York Inspires” and “Underwater Impressions” in 2017 and 2016 respectively at this same space
TheJungle art exhibition will surprise the gallery's visitors because of the powerful accents and all the secrets they keep.
